Implementation Methodology: IBM i Backup and Recovery

A backup appliance is provided for local data availability and linked to Fresche Backup Cloud for replication.

Daily deduplication to cloud storage will be monitored and managed for you to ensure consistency of backups.

Highly trained technicians will work with you to set up regularly performed disk-to-disk backups to the local appliance.

: Our Backup Management solution takes the best practices we’ve implemented in our cloud-based solution and applies them to an on-site customer solution. We set up a contingency backup appliance at our target environment location and establish a connection between both sites for backup replication.

Once the backup appliances are up and running, we monitor and manage daily replication to ensure your data is going offsite, as required, and is encrypted at rest and in flight. With the use of state-of-the-art deduplication and compression technology in our IBM i backup process, your data can be made available locally and offsite while still keeping storage and bandwidth requirements low.
